Dr. Kim graduated from the University of Virginia with a bachelor’s degree in biology and obtained his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree at the University of Maryland. He took part in the Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency program as a fourth-year dental student. Through the program, he gained much deeper appreciation for dentistry. He strives to deliver high-quality work in services including crowns, veneers, bridge, dentures, root canal therapy, extractions, implant restorations, and more.
Dr. Kim is passionate about improving health and giving quality services to patients. He chose dentistry for the ability to interact with patients face to face and to be involved in patient care from start to finish. He enjoys restoring patients’ smiles, function, and confidence. Dr. Kim enjoys meeting new patients and coming up with a comprehensive treatment plan to address the patient’s needs. It is almost like solving a complex puzzle, together with the patient!
He takes extra time with each patient to address their needs and answer any questions or concerns. It is important to Dr. Kim that the patients feel welcomed and that their expectations are met. Patients say that their experiences have been comfortable, relaxing, and pain-free!
As a resident of Maryland (and formerly Virginia), Dr. Kim enjoys being surrounded by nature, metropolis and everything in between. He enjoys working out, playing golf and basketball, and discovering local cuisine. At home, he can be found immersed in books, watching sports, or playing games.
