A PASSION FOR MY PROFESSION
Oral healthcare is more than just working on a person’s teeth and jaws, it’s about developing relationships and changing lives, one person at a time. Whether I am helping to get a person out of pain, restoring their oral health, or developing a beautiful smile for them, I am improving their health and increasing their happiness. Being of service to the individuals of our community, and offering sometimes life-transforming care, is incredibly fulfilling.
Each day I come to the practice knowing I will be meeting intriguing new patients and starting to build relationships with them, as well as catching-up on what’s been happening in the lives of my established patients. These relationships and these exchanges, what we share and learn from is each other, make the day fascinating. I cannot imagine another profession that would allow me to meet and care for so many amazing people, and am thankful that dentistry and orthodontics afford me that opportunity.
EDUCATION AND COMMITMENT TO CONTINUING EDUCATION
I hold a Doctorate of Dental Surgery (DDS), as well as a Master of Science in Orthodontics, from the University of Detroit. My educational background provided me with a strong foundational knowledge of oral healthcare, but oral healthcare is a field where there are constant developments in treatment methodologies, technologies, and materials.
It is essential for me to stay abreast of these changes, so I am able to provide my patients with leading-edge, proven care. Therefore, I pursue continuing education offerings throughout the year. I attend meetings, conferences, and lectures at the local, state, and national levels, including through the American Dental Association and the American Association of Orthodontists, constantly learning and seeking out new information to improve my patients’ treatment experience and results.
ABOUT K STREET DENTAL & ORTHODONTIC GROUP
I established K Street Dental & Orthodontic Group in 1995, envisioning a complete dental and orthodontic treatment center, where we would deliver the highest level of care to each patient, focusing on personal treatment plans and approaches that are right for the individual. That vision has become a reality.
In 2001, answering calls from many of our patients to come to Montgomery County, we opened a beautiful second location in The Kentlands (Gaithersburg).
At both practice locations, our treatment philosophy remains the same: the comfort and emotional well-being of you, our patient, is at the forefront of everything we do. We are here to serve your needs and to ensure that every visit to our office is one that you look forward to, knowing you’ll receive incredible care, delivered by consummate professionals, in a welcoming, safe environment, where we listen and care about you.
